As someone who loves sustainable fashion, I love finding new brands, With all that’s going on in the world, I knew I had to educate myself on Black owned sustainable fashion brands. And let me tell you, I found A LOT. There will probably be a part 2 and possibly part 3 of this post. Especially with me finding out about the way Reformation, was treating their Black employees, I knew I had to find some Black owned brands to support. Down below I am sharing with you 8 Black owned sustainable fashion brands.

Born in Senegal, Diarra, wanted to create a brand that merged her love of math and algorithms with her heritage. In the end she created a fashion brand that prioritizes sustainability and inclusivity.
Carries both men and women’s clothing, home goods and clean beauty.
Sustainable and ethically made clothes by Black women in an idie shop. They carry men, women, accessories, home and beauty.
Statement pieces that match your skin tone and body shape. 10% of proceeds go to the non profit, Wings of Kaeci, which provides for a school for disadvantaged young people in Cameroon.

This brand is made to order statement pieces made from 100% organic cotton.
All of the clothing is low impact on the environment. They are known for their laidback clothing.
Their core collection is made from natural cotton in Ethiopia. It’s an artisan driven collection carries women, men, children and home goods.
