Cream Sweater and Burgundy Skirt
As much as I love summer, I love fall fashion. It’s my favourite type of fashion. Normally I wear a lot of light colours but fall is the time were I get to pull out some darker shades. Burgundy’s, blues and blacks are some of my favourite cold weather colours. Of course, I love pairing them with light colours to help balance it out! I love this cream sweater and burgundy skirt combo! Such a cute fall look.
This burgundy skirt is actually old. My guess is 5 years old. Maybe? I got it on clearance at Madewell years ago and I don’t think I’ve ever shared it on here before. Why? I have no idea. Maybe it’s because when I first started blogging, I wanted to use affiliate links for everything. Oh how times have changed. Now I really don’t care just as along as the items are sustainable. I could not find a skirt this colour to share but I did find a similar skirt here that comes in black, navy and a mustard colour.
Downtown
These pictures were taken on a gorgeous fall day. My friend and I went downtown to the Cass Corridor area for a side walk sale for some cute little shops. Some of my favourite stores are in that area like City Bird, Nest and Nora. I also had the most delicious vegan tacos from a food truck. It’s also super close to were both my friend and I went to college.
Right across the street from the Cass Corridor area is the West Canfield Historic District where we shot these pictures. The cobblestone reminded me of a streets in New York City or any large city on the east coast. Lots of old houses too. Such a pretty area that I have never explored before. Downtown Detroit is filled of little neightbourhoods like this that I would love to explore more of.
