I suffer from dry skin, sensitive skin. And when winter comes, my already dry skin becomes even more dry. I am always looking for ways to keep my skin as hydrated as possible. Today, I am sharing 5 hacks for dry winter skin to help boost hydration and radiance.
Dry Winter Skin Hacks
1. Drinks Plenty of Water
When it comes to drinking water, I am a literal fish. For everyone else’s 1 cup of water, I’m probably at least 4 cups in already (this number is probably higher). Drinking plenty of water not only helps with digestion but helps keep your skin hydrated and your body functioning.
2. Add a Hyaluronic Acid Serum
I recently added this hyaluronic acid serum*to my skincare routine and I’ve already noticed a difference. This serum is packed with hyaluronic acid, vitamin b3, b5, willow bark and licorice extracts for plump and hydrated skin.
3. Facial Oil
There is no reason to be afraid of facial oils, even if you have oily skin. Face oils help give your skin a boost of hydration and can also help balance your oil production. There are so many benefits for using facial oils on all different types of skin. Here’s my post on reasons to use facial oils. I love this brightening oil and this everything oil*.
4. Always Moisturize
5. Eat Foods That Nourish Your Skin
As someone you has had to detox for health issues, I’ve done my fair share of research to help with my skin. Healthy fats like flax, avocado, leafy greens and lots of fruits and vegetables will help benefit your skin and digestion! If you want to know the foods I eat, check out my quarantine grocery list.
