Linen Dress and Denim Jacket
A white linen dress should be a staple in any French girls wardrobe. My dream is run through a lavender field in the South of France in a dress just like this. It is also one of my favourite sustainable materials! You might remember this dress when I paired it with a leather jacket in a sunflower field for fall. This time I decided to pair the linen dress and denim jacket together for a spring look.
Funnily enough, it’s snowing in these pictures *sigh.* It was so weird. The weather was beautiful and warm every single day of the week I shot, except the actual day I shot the outfit. Taylor, the blogger I shot with, and I decided we could pass the snow off as flowers from the trees. It kinda works. I look forward to the day that I actually wear this and it’s not snowing!!
My denim jacket is super old from H&M and definitely not sustainable. But it would be unsustainable for me to get rid of it just to buy a new one that is sustainable. Just remember being sustainable means only buying what you need!! I’m going to keep this denim jacket as long as possible and will only get rid of it when it’s unwearable.
These pictures were shot in Birmingham, about a block from the downtown area. This residential area is gorgeous. Don’t even want to know how much the houses are. They were taken when I was dog sitting for 10 days there. I actually miss staying there besides the fact I didn’t see my own pets much. AKT is literally down the street in Royal Oak, so when I did my 6:15 AM workouts, I didn’t have to get up as early.
What do you think of my outfit? And can you tell it’s snowing?
