Brown Knit Polo Style Top

This has got to be one of my new favourite outfits! I purchased this brown knit top from Mavi in Istanbul, and I loved it as soon as I tried it on. I was wearing my black trousers when I tried it on, so I knew my beige trousers would be the perfect match. On my flight back home, I even wore this top with jeans and sneakers and it was still super cute.

I love the polo style of this top and I really don’t own anything like in this style, except the white top that I wore last week, also purchased during the same shopping event. When it comes to shopping at Mavi, I am very particular about what I buy, even though they consider themselves sustainable, they do use recycled polyester, which I still hate, so I always opt for the full orgainc cotton items.

Pairing the brown knit top with my wide-leg trousers truly elevates the top to create a super chic outfit. This outfit is so simple yet so polished. Since rediscovering my Emma Sling heels from Sarah Flint, I have been trying to wear them more. These pointed shoes really bring the whole outfit together.

I wore this outfit when my friend and I went to Goodrich. Funny story, I saw a restaurant called Trios mentioned in the Vegan Detroit Facebook group that is located in Goodrich. As you know, my friend Marina and I like going to small towns to check them out. I sent it to her and she said, “omg I just saw a post for an antique market next weekend in Goodrich.” So of course we went to check out the market; everything was so expensive we didn’t buy anything. Then we went to get coffee before heading to the very small downtown where Trios was located. I have never seen such a huge separate vegan and gluten-free menu before in such a small town. Usually, I have only one or two options. Food was delicious too!
