Red Set

I am in love with the red outfit from Faraway! As I mentioned last week with the Faraway vest, this has become my new favourite sustainable brand. During my trip, I went to the Faraway store in Bebek in Istanbul. Honestly, I just went to look because I had already spent so much on online orders. You still haven’t even seen the most expensive outfit, yet that was 25k TL. I first spotted the top, then the sales associate showed me the matching shorts. The outfit was marked down for the end of season, so I was like, “Why not, let’s try it on.” This entire outfit- top, shorts and shoes was only 11k TL.

Originally, I had the 34 top, but it was too small, so I got a 36. The shorts are a 34, though. Then the sales associate brought the red Mary Janes and told me they were marked down to 2000 TL.

The top has a slight structure to it while also fitting close to the body. The lines help fit with the natural shape of the body. The rounded neckline and hem give a soft finish. I personally love leaving the bottom buttons undone to help it flow out and sit naturally. That’s actually also how they styled it at Faraway too. The shorts sit nicely at the waist and are pleated, giving it a polished, defined look. Both the top and shorts are made from Ecovero Viscose, organic cotton and linen to help give it a soft feel while holding their structure.

When I was at the store, I was even talking to my Kuzen about different ways I could also style this red set. I think a pair of black tights and a black top underneath would be super cute. I cannot wait to style all 3 of the pieces again!
