Our second day in Lisboa was a long day! First we started out with breakfast at a place by our hotel at Tomorrow at 9. After breakfast, we walked to our appointment with an immigration lawyer at 9:30. Her office was very close to our hotel as well.
After the meeting with the lawyer, we hopped on the bus to Feira da Ladra (Lisboa Flea Market). The flea market is only open Tuesdays and Saturdays.
I picked up some delicious gluten free and vegan cookies from the flea market- pistachio raspberry chocolate and chocolate chunk.
After we were done with the flea market, we were supposed to head towards Miradouro da Senhora do Monte, but we realized we should’ve done that first and would now be out of our way. So then we made our way towards Alfama. Alfama has some gorgeous lookouts, including the famous Miradouro de Santa Luzia, where you can see the iconic blue-and-white tiles and the river views.

We then did the Tram 28 experience. Tram 28 is an experience to ride in a 1930’s cable car. We took the tram from Alfama to Chiado.
Once we got off the tram, we headed to lunch at The Folks. I got an iced latte and a coconut chia pudding bowl. It was delicious.
After lunch, we went to Sephora to see if they had my sunscreen. Even Sephora is so pretty inside.
Then we went to the oldest bookstore in the world, Livraria Bertrand. I’ll do a separate post on that! So many special edition book covers. You can also get your books stamped saying you got it from the oldest bookstore in the world.
We walked around Chiado some more. Here is the Rua Augusta Arch.
We had time to kill before our dinner reservation, which was originally at 7, but we changed it to 6. So we walked around and went into a couple more churches.

We still had time to kill, so we sat by Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara for the views!
Finally, dinner at Leonetta! It was so good! I got some gluten-free vegan gnocchi, and then Zayno and I shared the vegan pana cotta!
We were too tired to even walk back to the subway station after dinner, so we called a Bolt (cheaper than Uber) to take us back to our hotel. All in all, it was a good, busy day.
